This is what you will do:

The Director, US Patient Marketing,RareNeurology,gMGis a member of the commercial brand team and will play a critical role in developing and driving strategy and tactics for patient and caregiver engagement. This individual will report to Sr.Director,gMGPatient Marketing and will work collaboratively with the rest of the brand team.  This position will play a critical role in collaborating to drive consumer engagement strategies and tactics, within an evolving competitivegMGmarket.

You willbe responsible for:

  • Contributingto the creation and implementation of thegMGpatient marketing strategy, including tactics and budget allocation

  • Leadingcreation and execution of innovative patient education tactics to support patientaquisitionand retention 

  • Drivingdevelopment and implementation of core marketing initiatives focusing on patient activation, driving greater awareness of the disease burden,andadvocating for oneself 

  • Partneringwith commercial insights to conduct highly innovative researchandanalytics to helpidentifykey dynamics

  • Deliveringmulti-channel patient promotional platforms andidentifyingoptimized marketing mix

  • Developing andmaintainingstrong relationships with other functional areas and internal strategic partners (i.e., Patient Services, Patient Advocacy, MarketResearch,Omnichannel, Analytics, Training, Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, etc.)

  • Managing agency partners, project timelines, resources, and budgets

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business field

  • 10+ years of professional experience; preferpatientmarketing, agency, or health care experience 

  • Extensive consumer marketingexperience, includingcreative development,productionand media planningforDTCTV/video,digital andpoint-of-care

  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects across functional areas, and work independently whenappropriate, in teams and as a sub-team lead

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate in a matrix environment 

  • High levelof interpersonal skills and highly adept in both verbal & written communication

  • Ability to work in a rapidly evolving and fast paced environment

  • The duties of this role aregenerally conductedin the Boston Seaport office environment.  As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging;engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.

  • Raredisease,specialty, or high-valuebiologicsexperience

  • Advanceddegree(MS, PhD, or MBA)

Annual base salary for this position ranges from $193,898.40 - 290,847.60 USD AnnualAstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs.  In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.

In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role).  Benefits offered for permanent roles include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, and annual Personal Days. Fixed Term Contract/Temporary positions (excluding students) are offered a Contract Benefits Program.
