Business Process Architect, Product Management, Patient CRM
This is what you will do:
The purpose of this role is to be the BusinessProcess Architectof the Patient CRM using an Agile framework within Commercial Business OperationsTheBusiness Process Architectwillfocus ondesigning,modelingandoptimizingcomplex regulatedend-to-end business processesacross Therapeutic Areas and products.This includesdeepunderstanding of thepatient journey workflows,analyzing howendusersoperateandtranslatingworkflowsintobyte-sizeimplementableprocessesto improve system usability,efficiencyand quality.
TheBusiness Process Architectwill work closely in tandem with the Product Owners,Patient Services teamand other stakeholderstogather requirements,understandtheunderlying data needs,measurable metrics,relatedreportingneedsanddesignprocessblueprintsthat canbe implementableonSalesforce LifeScience cloud. This role willalso workclosely with ITto ensure that theprocessblueprintsare translated intodetailed technical design and build-ready specifications, ensuring feasibility before development begins.
To be successful, this rolerequires a good understanding of thePatientServicesprocessesandSalesforce technologytodrive efficiency and success in all aspects ofproduct development andoperations.
You willbe responsible for:
Process Design & Optimization:Analyze and design business processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and scalability.Createautomated& optimizedworkflowprocesses across thevarious stages of patient journeys andsupport services.Breakdowncomplex requirements intomultipleworkflow processesthat areimplementableusingtools such asSalesforce Life Science cloud.
DataMapping:Map each stage of workflow processesto thedatathatisrequiredforpatientsupportservices, measuring business goals & metrics and otherreportingneeds.
ProcessMetrics:Define metrics& data requiredto evaluateworkflowprocess efficiency, quality and compliance.
Strategic Alignment: Ensure business processworkflowssupport the overall business goals, bridging the gap between strategic intent and operational reality
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner withPatient CRMproductteam, PatientServicesand ITto ensureprocess mapsand associated dataalign with patient care goals,regulatoryrequirementsand business metrics
Documentation, Standards& Governance:Developandmaintaindocumentation ofprocessworkflows,BPMN models,data maps/metricsand best practices
Partnerwith IT Solution Architect totranslate workflows into system designalongwiththe desired dataelements.
Performreviewsof thewireframes and prototypesby partnering with IT to ensurerequirements and product specifications are met
Perform user acceptance testing to ensure requirements and product specifications are met
Periodic review of workflow process to ensuretheupdates to patient journey processand end userfeedbacksare incorporated
Knowledge ofSalesforceCRM functionalities, Salesforce reportingcapabilitiesandpatientdatamanagement
Knowledge ofpatient dataregulatory standards– HIPAA, GDPR
Share best practices and insights with team members and stakeholders to foster a culture ofprocess-drivenand user-centricthinking
You will need tohave:
3–5+ years of experience in process management, businessanalysisand solutionarchitecture.
3+ years of experience inSalesforceCRM architecture, specifically within healthcare, patient servicesarea.
3+ years of experience inCRM configuration, Salesforce Health Cloud/Salesforce LifeScience Cloud,Process Builder/Flowsandprocessdatamapping.
Knowledge of Agilemethodology
Domain knowledgeof patient relationship management, HIPAA compliance.
Strong ability to document complex workflows and translate them into actionable system requirements
Understanding ofprocess modeling methodologies, usabilityprinciplesand accessibility standards
Proficient in using various processmapping tools (e.g.,ARIS,Visio)andmodeling standards such as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
Provenexperienceunderstanding the needs of the customer and strong problem-solving skills
Proven successful collaboration and communication with IT and other key cross-functional partners
Able to successfully juggle the competing demands of multiple concurrent projects
The duties of this role aregenerally conductedin an office environment. We wouldpreferfor you to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with therelevant legal and regulatory components of the pharmaceutical and biotech industry
Ultra/Rare disease experience a plus
Demonstrated success working within cross-functional teamsand ability to coordinate with cross-functional teamsto deliver project success
Strong empathetic, communication and listening skills
Ability to act with urgency, flexibility, and creativity
Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to change and react constructively in a high-energy and fast paced environment
Demonstrates initiative,teamworkand accountability
Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills
ProficientinMS Tools, Visio,PowerPointand Excel
Certifications like Certified Business Process Architect (CBPA), Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Salesforce or similar are highly valued.

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 101,642.40 to 133,405.65.AstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs. In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.
In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role).
