About the Role
As the Human Resources Lead for our GITC in Guadalajara, you will be at the forefront of our HR transformation efforts. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner for IT based in the US, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and driving the HR strategy for GITC and the broader IT function. You will collaborate with a vibrant, distributed team, working alongside the Mexico HR Centers of Excellence (CoE) and Operations and Solutions teams, to deliver coordinated HR solutions that bolster our strategic goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Chip in to the development of GITC’s business strategy and implement a comprehensive HR functional delivery plan.
- Change Leadership: Collaborate with senior leaders and global teams to craft and deliver targeted HR interventions that support performance improvement and business transformation.
- Global HR Alignment: Ensure local site HR practices align with AstraZeneca’s global agenda, applying tools and techniques in organizational efficiency, change management, and more.
- Partner Engagement: Forge positive relationships with HR CoEs to ensure tailored HR deliveries, advocating for the unique needs of the Mexico market.
- Project Management: Lead HR projects with precision, ensuring timely delivery within agreed scope and budget parameters.
- Talent Strategy: Champion robust talent and leadership planning initiatives and collaborate with Talent Acquisition CoE to attract top talent.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze trends to anticipate future HR solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Qualifications: Degree-level education with shown experience in sophisticated, global organizations.
- HR Expertise: Demonstrable track record of driving business improvements and optimally leading complex HR projects.
- Skills: Proficient in Resourcing, Performance & Reward, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, and Organizational Change.
- Personal Attributes: Independent, resilient, and adept at prioritizing tasks in a matrix environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in an HR-related field.
- Previous HR experience in the IT industry.
