Patient Marketing Manager- Immunology

The Marketing Manager plays a meaningful role in crafting patient marketing plans to improve the value of AstraZeneca's portfolio and pipeline. Reporting to the Sr. Director for Immunology Marketing, the Patient Marketing Manager is responsible for leading key projects within the Immunology Patient Marketing Team; including digital media, CRM campaigns, patient education and community advocacy.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with the Patient Marketing Director to define and deliver against the brand’s promotional plan and programs; ensuring alignment with brand strategy and customer insights

  • Leadstrategic execution of tactical planswithin key channels;including core promotional campaign assets, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and patient support programs

  • Deliver promotional tactics and assets on time, on budget, with measurable business impact

  • Develop critical metrics and track project performance against patient support programs, media campaigns and community engagements

  • Partner with Business Insights and Market Research Team to define success metrics and analyze performance programs

  • Improve collaboration with other functional areas within the business to increase impact and efficiency 

  • Lead the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process to ensure timely, compliant and impactful marketing materialsare delivered according to plan

  • Manage partner agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets

  • Participate in the annual operational planning process by shaping the tactical plan and budget required to achieve the brand’s stated objectives

Essential for the role

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Business, Marketing or in the sciences

  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical marketing or related experience

  • Strong communicationskills and passion for helping patients

  • Demonstrated ability to lead without authority

  • Ability to manage complex projects and timelines

  • Ability to gauge the feasibility, impact and risks of proposed programs

  • Comfort operating in a highly regulated environment and industry

Desirable for the role 

  • Experience in Immunology or related specialty care products

  • Advanced Degree in Business, Marketing, or Science

  • Experience in Legal, Medical and Regulatory functions
