Americas Operations Regional Finance Business Partner
Typical Accountabilities:
• To support business functions by providing financial guidance and to ensure that all stakeholders within the business area receive the financial information they require to drive the business performance. This may involve pricing analysis, costing and project work as well as support to the annual business update cycle and monthly reporting.
• The Business Analyst will be viewed by finance and business customers as a financial modelling and analysis expert. The role broadly includes the following key components :
• Business Strategy & Decision Support
• To provide support to key business & investment decisions, co-ordinating data collection from a variety of sources and formats, providing analysis in support of options and enabling appropriate decision making by the business and finance partners
• Business Performance
• To be accountable for complex, manual accounting journals, to communicate monthly performance, provide analytical and data collection support to business planning processes and coordinate presentations for key business and finance review meetings.
• Continuous Improvement & Governance
• To support continuous improvement in Finance processes and capabilities and to ensure compliance with financial governance and control frameworks as appropriate.
• They will be members of a global network of Finance Analysts, sharing best practice and delivering valued support to the Business with global consistency and efficiency

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Qualified or part qualified finance professional
• Desirable: Experience of working in a global organisation, preferably within the pharmaceuticals industry, and of the drug development life cycle and commercial aspects of the industry; Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and liaising with senior managers; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including oral & written; Good understanding of functional cost drivers; Use of/Exposure to general office and financial systems, e.g. SAP; Strong Excel/modelling skills
