Oncology Sales Representative - GYNE/GU - Western Canada

Join our Oncology team, the fastest growing within AstraZeneca and the industry, as we strive to become world leaders in cancer treatment. With numerous new indications and targets in our pipeline, we aim to redefine cancer care through launch excellence and commercial effectiveness. As an Oncology Sales Rep for Gyne/GU, reporting to the Oncology Sales Manager, you will develop strategic relationships with key influencers to enhance access to medicines for patients. What you'll do:

  • Build effective account strategies and plans to drive sales performance and exceed expectations while creatively working within assigned budgets.

  • Communicate the scientific and clinical benefits of our products to top research and clinical practitioners.

  • Drive successful product launches aligned with core brand strategy in a fast-paced environment.

  • Create deep key account and key influencer relationships by analyzing problems, gaining insights, considering options, and identifying innovative solutions.

  • Build and arrange effective speaker programs with physician advocates and KOLs, collaborating with the broader Sales, Brand, and Scientific team.

  • Work aligned with all external regulations and internal policies, and training requirements.

  • Collaborate to share improved practices and build new ways to learn and work across shared platforms.

  • Collect and report Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • University degree in science and/or business

  • 3-5 years of Oncology sales experience with a solid understanding of institutional account management is an asset

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to positively impact and influence others, quickly establishing credibility while building strong business relationships

  • Experience engaging key influencers in sophisticated clinical environments, developing strategies to improve treatment pathways, and implementing them using planning and influencing skills

  • Well-organized with strong communication and business skills

  • A great teammate, able to work within a diverse, cross-functional team, enhancing team cohesiveness and agility

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $114,634.40 to $157,622.30. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program (if applicable to the role). Benefits offered include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, annual Personal Days, a variety of wellness-related leaves (paid and unpaid) as well as a Company-wide holiday shutdown between Christmas and New Year's.
