Location: Warsaw

Hybrid model: 3 days from office per week

What you'll do

Role overview

This role will support the ongoing development of the R2R governance process to utilise data provided to drive the performance of the process area forward.

Typical accountabilities

  • Working collaboratively with the GFS R2R Leads to support the monthly R2R Regional and Global Governance process. This will include gathering regional performance data, providing detailed commentary, and presenting monthly global performance reports.
  • Implement and actively manage the global R2R issue tracker, managing the process to identify root cause, ensuring actions are being followed up by the delivery centre teams and summarising key global issues/risks/progress to the GFS R2R Leadership team.
  • Analysing and review of the monthly metrics, identifying trends as well as feeding these into the governance boards.
  • Supporting the wider R2R governance initiatives through co-ordination with the delivery centres e.g. SOP initiatives, business process mapping.
  • As the R2R process develops, aiding the implementation of new R2R metrics into the process area and subsequent data capture.
  • Active collaboration with all internal and external R2R stakeholders to improve existing Ways of Working (WoW) with special emphasis on R2R service delivery quality and timelines.
  • Participating in new systems/tools implementation as a part of global deployment projects
  • Supporting the R2R Continuous Improvement (CI) initiative programme across the global delivery centres, including working with the CI teams to ensure initiatives are clearly documented and tracked through to completion.
  • Identifying and delivering improvements to the continuous improvement and governance processes.
  • Supporting any relevant other business as usual activities or wider business change when required.

Essential for the role

  • Finance or accounting educational background (BA/MA in Finance or Economics, CIMA/ACCA)
  • Minimum 3 years of finance/accounting/controlling experience within international company
  • Energetic, proactive, and self-motivated finance professional with the capability to build strong internal and external relationships with stakeholders in our global organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience of working with large volumes of data.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Experience of delivering to deadlines during significant business change across different national and business boundaries.
  • Experience of supporting and delivering continuous improvements across key business processes.

Desirable

  • Ideal candidates will have specific industry and process experience including benchmarking.
  • A working knowledge of using a major ERP system (i.e. SAP), a consolidation toolkit (Hyperion, ERH) and reporting application (e.g. Power BI) would be beneficial.
  • Experience of Record to Report processes and systems within a large/global organisation.
  • Understanding of key finance metrics and their application.
