As a Patient Advocate & Corporate Affairs Manager for Singapore, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering life-changing medicines to patients.
Job Summary:
You'll be responsible to develops programs and campaigns for various forms of internal or external communication, and acts as an expert support to a geographical or functional area in one or more types of communication or corporate affairs work.
Typical Accountabilities:
Contributes to multiple Corporate Affairs and communications projects to help AstraZeneca communicate important corporate messages to internal and external stakeholders
Contributes to engagements with key internal or external groups, such as sales teams, external charities, government lobbyists and regulators
Carries out research, either individually or as part of a team, into more complex areas of government legislation, regulation, managed markets or public policy
Liaises with brand managers and other internal colleagues to explain how internal or external developments can affect their brands or areas of responsibility
Helps brand leaders develop communications programs and strategies tied to their respective brand strategies
Builds and participates in internal and external networks to share information in the legislative, regulatory or public policy arena and disseminate best practices internally
May manage data information systems to keep track of external relations with various social groups or charities
May engage with lobbyists or government or regulatory officials
May oversee the regulatory submissions for particular product categories or brands
May have budget management responsibilities
May be responsible for communicating with and organizing external vendors and service providers
Acts as a resource in one or more areas of Corporate Governance, helping managers and other colleagues resolve more complex Corporate Affairs and communication related issues
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in life science/ communications or a related field
4-5 years of communications/Corporate Affairs
Understanding of new media, especially social networks
Expertise in one or more area(s) of internal or external corporate communications
Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Strong project manager who can work effectively under pressure
Desirable Requirements:
Experience with patient-support organizations
Experience in pharmaceutical industry
