Reporting to the Productivity & Project Services (P&PS) Business Lead/Senior Business Lead, this is a fantastic opportunity to identify and implement initiatives that improve productivity across the enterprise, so that scarce internal resources and budget can be diverted to support activities that deliver value.

The team has created an approach that centres on exploiting internal and external ideas, and using a hypothesis led and data led approach to deliver value to the business.

You will be part of a global team, working with external partners, other transformation programmes, internal Finance teams and business stakeholders.

Role Profile

The Business Insights Manager is accountable for planning and performing a wide range of analyses to extract knowledge and provide insights from internal and external data. The role holder engages and establishes relationships with key internal stakeholders and external 3rd parties to understand business issues and key trends, and provide hands-on analytical expertise in data preparation, data modelling, analysis, visualisation techniques and applying business acumen to investigate business issues, identify opportunities and drive initiatives forward. The candidate needs to have the relevant expertise and experience, but more importantly is a problem solver, simplifier, integrator, connector, and communicator. The role holder is a change agent who challenges work with an agile, positive mind set, thinks differently, and makes things happen.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide data driven insights, expertise, and analysis to identify, drive and shape opportunities and initiatives.
  • Identify, condense, and combine relevant internal and external data sets from several sources, apply judgement and business acumen to provide data driven insights and value proposition.
  • Uses the right tools and techniques coupled with effectively story-telling ability to deliver succinct and high impact presentations to influence business partners and stakeholders in an adapted, meaningful, and consumable way.
  • Communicates, seek to understand, and constructively challenge leading to better decisions and outcomes.
  • Establishes and develops key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive to build good working relationship with business partner and internal stakeholder. Develop a deep understanding of internal stakeholder’s business objectives, priorities and needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of databases and builds network to enable usage of relevant internal and external data to perform analysis.
  • Engage with internal and external 3rd parties to identify and explore key trends and market best practices.
  • Drive business proposal and improvement
  • Develops business case and conduct cost benefit analysis.
  • Work closely with business partners and stakeholders to drive progress of initiatives, follow up on status, track project cost and measure benefit delivery.
  • Self-initiated curiosity with an eye for performance, investigating, identifying, and proactively driving areas for improvement.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in analytics and insights generation roles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools e.g., Power BI.
  • Proactive, highly curious and delivery focused, comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Well-developed influencing skills with the ability to drive bigger picture thinking to engage, build and maintain creditability with business stakeholders.
  • Energetic, resilient, and tenacious.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Good networking and relationship building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management to manage diverse range of simultaneous projects.
  • Proficiency in databases and data pulling tools e.g., Python/R.

Desirable criteria

  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum processes would be advantageous.

Other Role Requirements

  • Schedule flexibility to work on holidays when necessary.
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate global time zone.
  • Flexibility and Ability to travel and work in another AZ facilities outside the country when necessary.
  • Schedule flexibility to work on the days off given by the wellness Policy when necessary (Política de Bienestar).

Internal and External Contacts/Customers

Will interface with other Shared Services functions, Business CFOs/Finance Business Partners and 3rd party service providers.
