About the Opportunity

Are you ready to revolutionize clinical document creation? Join Evinova as a Product Manager in our AI Authoring team, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming the pharmaceutical industry. Reporting to the Product Director, you'll bridge the worlds of clinical trials, medical writing, and AI technology to create innovative solutions. This is your chance to shape the future of how critical clinical trial documentation is created, managed, and reused.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Product Thinking

  • Tackle problems as an entrepreneur

  • Interpret underlying user intent beyond stated requests, understanding the "why" behind feature asks and workflow pain points

  • Balance user needs with B2B business outcomes - considering buyer personas, ROI metrics, enterprise adoption patterns, and enterprise change management friction

  • Translate complex stakeholder requirements (from both economic buyers and end users) into elegant product solutions that serve multiple constituencies and balance speed and scale

  • Make informed trade-off decisions that optimize for both user satisfaction and commercial success, while staying aligned with product strategy and vision

  • Contribute to business cases that connect product capabilities to measurable customer value and revenue impact

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Bring a builder's mindset and a deep sense of ownership, taking end-to-end responsibility to drive ideas from concept to impact

  • Drive feature development from conception through launch, owning timelines and delivery commitments, contributing meaningfully to and maintaining roadmap goals

  • Transform user intent and business constraints into concrete product requirements that engineering can execute and customers will buy

  • Partner with engineering, data science, commercial, research and design to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of product capabilities

  • Lead the alignment and integration of related product offerings into cohesive user experiences, both within and across Evinova’s products

User Research & Experience

  • Bring endless curiosity

  • Coordinate and conduct UX research initiatives both independently and in partnership with UX Research professionals

  • Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and workflow analysis on an ad-hoc basis to help rapidly validate assumptions and form perspectives

  • Distinguish between what users say they want, what they actually need, and what will drive purchasing decisions, recurring revenue, and continual value delivery

  • Synthesize research findings into actionable roadmap inputs, ensuring user insights directly influence product priorities and feature decisions

Design & Rapid Prototyping

  • Embrace AI-powered design tools (ex. v0, Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Figma AI etc.) to quickly validate concepts and iterate on solutions. Familiarity with code is a plus!

  • Demonstrate product thinking via functional prototypes that manifest user workflows and AI interactions for user testing

  • Articulate and advocate for high-quality design standards, providing clear rationale for design decisions based on principles of usability, accessibility, aesthetic excellence, and brand consistency

  • Make design decisions that reflect both user mental models and business value drivers (efficiency gains, compliance requirements, change management considerations)

  • Partner with designers to elevate the overall product experience, contributing concrete design feedback and suggestions

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders across Evinova and our customers

  • Navigate complex B2B dynamics including champion building, economic buyer alignment, and multi-stakeholder decision processes

  • Communicate product updates, roadmap changes, and strategic decisions to diverse audiences

  • Support commercial teams with product expertise during customer engagements

AI & Innovation

  • Develop increasing fluency in LLM capabilities and limitations for document generation

  • Partner with AI engineering and data science teams to define requirements for AI-native products

  • Stay current with AI advances in document automation and identify opportunities for product enhancement

  • Build expertise in prompt engineering and model behavior to optimize product performance

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or life sciences field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3-5 years of product management experience in B2B or B2C software, preferably in regulated industries

  • Demonstrated ability to read between the lines of user feedback and translate implicit needs into explicit product features

  • Familiarity or expertise in AI-enabled prototyping to inform rapid software development decisions

  • Ability to articulate design decisions and demonstrate good taste in user interface and experience design

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into clear recommendations

  • Excellence in written and verbal communication, with ability to influence without authority

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (10-15%) 

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in any combination of business administration, healthcare technology, clinical trials, or life sciences software

  • Background in B2B SaaS with complex buying cycles and multiple stakeholder groups

  • Proficiency with AI-powered prototyping tools (v0, Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Replit) and design systems

  • Experience with enterprise software design patterns and understanding of enterprise UX constraints

  • Familiarity with medical writing, clinical documentation, or regulatory submission processes

  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly large language models and their applications

  • Knowledge of clinical trial protocols, ICH-GCP guidelines, or regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA)

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 110,968.00 to 145,645.50.

AstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs.  In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.

In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role).  Benefits offered for permanent roles include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, and annual Personal Days. Fixed Term Contract/Temporary positions (excluding students) are offered a Contract Benefits Program.
