Introduction to role
As a Learning Technology Assistant within Global Ethics & Compliance, you will oversee learning systems and ensure content quality and accuracy. You will manage tickets with Global Learning Services (GLS) and perform LMS administrative tasks like course testing and reporting. Key responsibilities include organizing the annual Code of Ethics training, ensuring compliance, and managing translations. You will also update learning materials using tools like Articulate and create resources as needed. Your role involves recommending new learning tools to enhance engagement, supporting technical troubleshooting for LMS users, and acting as a subject matter expert for AZ Learning Platforms. Utilizing data analytics, you will provide updates on program effectiveness, gather user feedback, and share insights with Learning and Development and KMI (Knowledge Management and Innovation) Directors through engaging reports and presentations. Additionally, you will collaborate with Human Resources and other teams to improve learning programs and conduct user training sessions.
Accountabilities
Learning Support
- Handle tickets for learning requests with Global Learning Services (GLS) and perform administrative tasks in the Learning Management System (LMS) like course testing and reporting.
- Explore and recommend new learning tools or software that can improve learning engagement and outcomes.
- Become the functional SME for AZ Learning Platforms.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of learning content through regular reviews and updates.
Support for Code of Ethics Training:
- Organize the annual Code of Ethics training, including arranging meetings, coordinating translations, and testing.
- Work with different teams to ensure the training runs smoothly.
- Manage the process to ensure everyone completes the Code of Ethics, keeping everything accurate and compliant.
Manage Translations and Compliance:
- Take care of translating mandatory learning and other policy documents.
- Make sure all learning materials meet company standards.
Update Learning Content:
- Use Articulate software to update and improve existing learning materials.
- Create additional learning resources and workbooks using Microsoft Word as needed.
Technical Troubleshooting:
- Support the resolution of technical issues related to the LMS and ensure users have access to required learning materials smoothly.
Data & Analytics:
- Use data tools to provide regular updates on how effective the learning program is.
- Analyze data to find ways to improve learning experiences.
- Gather feedback from users on learning programs and platforms, using it to propose and implement improvements.
Reporting and Presentations:
- Work with Learning and Development (L&D) and Key Management Information (KMI) Directors to share findings regularly.
- Ensure reports are clear and engaging for different audiences.
Ad Hoc:
- Collaborate with Human Resources and other learning teams at AstraZeneca to enhance learning programs.
- Conduct training sessions where needed to help users understand how to use learning platforms effectively.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Fluent English speaker and communicator
- MINIMUM 2 years’ experience within a training or technology-based environment
- High EQ/IQ
- A strong communicator with the ability to communicate effectively and simply within the team, wider groups, and more widely using internal social media channels
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage your own workload in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency with MS Office products (particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Experience with learning and communication-based software such as Articulate, Adobe, Intranet.
- Interest in future technologies in the workplace (such as AI)
- A general interest in Sustainability and making a difference
