Enterprise Learning Technology Solutions Partner

Hybrid Work- 3 days/week from our Mississauga, Canada office

Reports to:Head of T&D Operations & Technology Solutions

Job Responsibilities

Business Learning Technologies Needs Assessment

  • Collaborate with learning/ business leads to understand their learning strategy, goals, objectives, and challenges

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to find opportunities for adopting the learning technology stack and incorporating learning technologies into their training programs

  • Collaborate with partners, including learning and development teams, subject matter experts, and IT professionals to understand business needs and how to translate them into effective learning technology solutions

  • Serve as subject matter expert and provide guidance to teams and individuals regarding learning technology solutions and their applications

Solution Consultation and Development

  • Design and develop learning technology solutions that align with the business goals, leverage and optimize the learning technology ecosystem  (including Cornerstone SBX, Degreed,  Mindtools, Xyleme, and our new adaptive learning platform), and identify any niche technology gaps if necessary. This includes evaluating, selecting, and integrating appropriate learning technologies which complement the global learning technology ecosystem.

Vendor Management

  • Working with the Learning Advisory Board to evaluate and engage with external vendors and partners to identify and procure the required learning technologies and tools to augment our global learning ecosystem

  • Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and partners to tap into their expertise and resources in implementing innovative learning solutions

Implementation and Integration

  • Oversee the successful implementation and integration of our global learning technologies within our AZ SET/ business areas

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of respective system implementation plans: from initial engagement with the business, through collaborated planning and monitoring of business readiness, testing, and deployment

Campaign Management & System Adoption Support

  • Provide technical training and support to business leaders on the effective use of learning technologies

  • Leverage user guides, documentation, masterclass sessions, etc. to promote best practices and optimize utilization of the global learning technology infrastructure

Evaluation and Improvement

  • Continuously monitor the effectiveness of learning technology solutions and gather feedback from stakeholders

  • Analyse data and metrics to assess the impact of the solutions and make recommendations for improvement or enhancement to optimize user experience and engagement

Industry Research

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in the learning and development field

  • Share knowledge and insights with business leaders and internal teams to drive innovation and optimize learning experiences.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.  Master’s degree is a plus.

  • 5 years experience in the design, development, and implementation of learning technology solutions

  • Strong knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms (LxP), learning content management systems (LCMS), and other relevant learning technologies

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines and deliver results

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and recommend appropriate solutions

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with business leaders, vendors, and internal stakeholders

  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and embrace new innovations in the learning and development field 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working in a complex global organization

  • Experience with Degreed, Xyleme, Cornerstone SBX
