Associate Director - S/4 HANA Deployment

We are seeking a S/4HANA Multi-functional solution expert with considerable experience in Logistics and Finance to join our Technology team at AstraZeneca. This key position will play an integral role in defining the Global template for AstraZeneca in line with our ambition of fit to standard using best practice. As an S/4 HANA multi-functional solution expert for Logistics and finance, you will be responsible for leading the multi-functional integration between both streams and provide solutions accordingly. You will be leading the set of S/4 HANA skilled staff in Logistics and Finance streams, working closely with partners to deliver high-quality solution for the S/4 HANA transformation. Accountabilities

You will be responsible for ensuring integration between business process definition, SAP solution definition and SAP data objects definition. You will be leading the delivery of the multi-functional solutions and ensure that solution integrity and quality is at its peak and align to SAP standards. You will also drive the state with heritage and other connected systems by providing an interim solution. You will work with collaborators including partners, multiple AZ ET areas, and IT teams to ensure agreement with the design and support the passage of the solution design & delivery through the appropriate governance forums.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Expertise in the respective business domains and on SAP MM, SAP EWM and SAP FICO with S/4 HANA, with a specialization in one or more modules.
  • Lead the team of S/4 HANA skilled experts in MM, EWM and FICO modules.
  • SAP implementation experience from design to completion of deployment.
  • Certification in specific SAP S/4HANA module where the candidate have a specialisation.
  • Solid understanding in Business process Configuration, pharma domain processes and application of the S/4 HANA solution.
  • Experience in regulated environments and specific knowledge of GXP and SOX requirements.
  • Ability to manage people and lead other functional & technical team members to deliver solutions.
  • Rich knowledge on interface solutions with S/4 HANA and Third-Party Systems, there are 400 applications connected to our SAP systems
  • Knowledge on latest S/4 technologies and functionalities like BTP, EWM insights etc
  • Good knowledge on SAP logistics (MM/EWM) integration with FI, CO, SD, PP, QM & PM functions.
  • Good knowledge of Tolling and Inter/Intra company processes. Lead the solution for end and interim states.
  • Experience of Pharmaceutical supply chain business activities and the required business outcomes within the relevant capability area
  • Knowledge of new SAP technologies and functionalities, and work with heritage sap team to arrive at an optimum solution for transition state.
  • Good partner management and communication skills with Business and IT areas
  • Good teammate able to work across the program team and communicate in business and IT terms
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and possessing an agile and open attitude.
  • Good knowledge on the SAP S/4 HANA change management tools, BPM tools, data migration and testing tools. Exposure to JIRA and agile ways of working is required.
  • Able to manage large work efforts and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Demonstrated personal credibility and positive energy.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Certification in specific SAP S/4HANA module where the candidate has a specialisation.
  • Knowledge on other functional areas is preferred (TM, EWM, PP, PM, GTS,etc)
  • Experience in or knowledge of SAP Cloud Products such as, but not limited to, Logistics Business Network, SAP Analytics Cloud, Batch Release Hub, ICSM, Advanced Financial Close.
  • Experience in or knowledge of Clean Core development methods and extensibility and integration solutions offered by SAP BTP
  • Knowledge on EML, SAP Activate Methodologies, SAP Best Practices for SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience in S/4 implementations or proof of concepts which embraces logistics and or finance modules.
  • Expertise in managing the interim solutions with heritage SAP and the new S/4 HANA system.
  • Manage the integrity of the data across the connected systems.
  • Project management and/or lean qualifications
