Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients? As aMedical Science Liaison (MSL) Meta+ for Northern Italy, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to enhance disease and treatment awareness. You will provide clinical and scientific support to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and deliver high-level medical information.
This role involves 20% office-based activities and 80% field medical activities, supporting the HPP Field Medical Advisor.
Accountabilities
- Develop, establish, and maintain relationships with KOLs, ensuring high-level scientific engagement to improve understanding of treatments and disease awareness.
- Provide clinical and scientific support for KOLs, maintaining high-quality medical-to-medical interactions and managing medical information requests.
- Deliver medical information to internal and external customers while working in a cross-functional environment.
- Stay updated on scientific and clinical developments in MeTA+.
- Plan and implement research projects for assigned products according to corporate and local policies.
- Support Italian centers in national/international clinical development research and collaborate with Clinical Operations.
- Assist the Medical Advisor on local studies, including planning study protocols, ensuring accurate data management and analysis, preparing final study reports, and timely publication of data.
- Support the Marketing Department to ensure high scientific and educational standards in relevant activities, such as preparing and reviewing promotional material, planning and organizing scientific events, and reviewing promotional materials.
- Manage all activities and account relationships in accordance with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures, and Italian legislation.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Previous experience in Medical Affairs
- Understanding of the medical role and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and functions: sales, marketing, access, etc.
- Knowledge of legislation relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to manage incoming data and/or requests in a timely manner and escalate when appropriate
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in relationship and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in English and Italian
- Residence or legal domicile in Northern Italy
