AstraZeneca is building an internal consulting capability in our Global Business Services (GBS) group focused on delivering high-quality project management capabilities to our enterprise organization.

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of projects within our organization. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Within this role, you will be tracking workstreams and day-to-day management of projects or project workstreams. In this role, you will be managing and updating the plan, risks, issues, actions, and decisions log, whilst escalating any risks and issues. The Project Manager will coordinate and prepare internal and external reporting, analyzing the data and presenting the findings to stakeholders in the business. You will also be required to set up and prepare meetings, workshops, agendas, and presentations for business areas involved in the project, whilst working to deadlines and coordinating lessons learned.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ project management and/or project support experience
Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills with an excellent customer experience mindset
Experience working with project management tools (SmartSheet, JIRA, monday.com, Asana, etc.)
Proven ability to create effective presentations
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills and comfortable with ambiguity
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Good written and spoken communications
Has an eye for detail
Competent in the use of relevant office equipment and systems
Experience of a variety of software/systems
Ability to follow processes
