Job Title: Product Manager Gynco-Oncology
Introduction to role
Lead the strategy for all Gyn indications and brands in a highly competitive and complex environment. Be an active and leading member of the cross-functional team, including FLSM, Medical, Regulatory Department, Diagnostic, Market Access functions, and alliance colleagues, ensuring excellent execution of tactics.
Accountabilities
- Prepare, update, and implement respective plans (Brand Plans) including short and long-term market share/profitability targets for the brands in your area of responsibility.
- Gather and interpret customer segmentation, market analyses, SWOT, competitor analyses, and other sector developments to ensure brand plans reach targets. Integrate these into operational plans and keep them updated.
- Lead strategic decisions to improve business performance.
- Be an active and leading member of the Brand team, including Sales Management, Medical Department, Regulatory Department, Diagnostic, and Market Access functions, ensuring effective development and implementation of brand strategy and plans.
- Maintain clear and sharp communication, building strong relations to increase recognition/awareness of the brand strategy within AZ.
- Establish bilateral communication with the product promotion team to ensure strategic and operational plans are appropriately implemented. Provide feedback during meetings and follow up on plan implementation across the market.
- Maintain effective communication with global brand teams/marketing groups to share information and effective practices.
- Visit customers through planned dual visits with the product promotion team/medical team to ensure strategy implementation.
- Build and maintain relations with Opinion Leaders.
Essential Skills/Experience
• At least 2 years of PM experience in the pharma sector, from specialty TA
• Effective at teamwork and ability to lead a cross-functional team
• Strong scientific knowledge
• Ability to create strong relationships with customers and leading KEEs
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to accept changes and adapt quickly; agility skills
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences from a reputable university
• Very good command of written and spoken English
Desirable Skills/Experience
• Previous experience in Oncology
• Master's degree in life sciences or business administration
