What you’ll do
Job Description / Capsule
To develop and manage the commercial relationships and agreements with major public hospital groups and with major industrial accounts/Healthcare Associations/Insurance to maximize the business for AstraZeneca.
Develop and implement Key Account Management plans that to maximize the business. Includes proposal preparation & excellence in execution and implementation. Maintains up to date knowledge of company and competition's products, services.
Typical Accountabilities

1/ Customer management
Develop long-term relationship with key decision makers within the customers as well as key HC associations
Maintain regular contact with decision makers
Ensure that AZ product input into all hospital tenders and listing with appropriate quota
Liaise with marketing group in Primary Care to ensure optimal tenders & listing
In conjunction with Field Force and Marketing propose Primary Care bundling solutions for Key Accounts
Strengthen trust & credibility through the AZ Code of Conduct
2/ Key account business planning:
Develop account specific strategies and tactics to support the achievement of business targets
Allocate and manage operational, promotional and capital budgets throughout business cycle.
Identify and Realise opportunities to optimise and build account plan business.
Monitor, report & analyse performance metrics which express the effectiveness and efficiency of the key account function to ensure actual performance is in line with strategic and business objectives
Develop base strategy for each therapy area across the groups above
3/ Coaching and Team Development:
Responsible for team performance and development.
Conduct monthly development coaching and semi-annual performance appraisal with KAE
Provide team training as required to address collective development needs
Identify/retain key talents and submit consistent poor performers to a leaver process
Develop and implement strategies to drive and motivate team
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
Medicine & Pharmacy University degree; Master’s degree preferable
Minimum 5 years experience in various aspects of Sales or Marketing; at least 2 years experience in equivalent position in a pharmaceutical organization (preferably MNC).
Excellent negotiation skills;
Good business sense;
The ability to motivate and lead a team;
Initiative and enthusiasm;
Good planning and organizational skills;
The ability to work effectively under pressure;
Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and Vietnamese.
Desirable
Experience in similar position in MNC Pharmaceutical company
