What is the opportunity?
LOKELMA is indicated for the treatment of hyperkalaemia which is a common complication in CKD and HF that, if left untreated, can lead to serious health consequences including cardiac arrest or death. LOKELMA is a key growth product in the CVRM portfolio, crossed $0.5B in annual revenue as of 2024 and has a bold ambition to help millions of Hyperkalemia patients across the globe.
Accountabilities:
The role will be expected to have a high level of collaboration with other global functions, regional leadership and local Marketing Company teams. In this role, you will be accountable to evolve the global strategic plan, implement the global operational plan and support key markets. The successful candidate must be a strong matrix leader, good communicator and well-rounded global commercial leader, with a specific appetite for shaping and implementing brand strategy, creating and delivering impactful and innovative Global programs to excel our performance across the Globe. Clear strategic thinking with the ability to lead and demonstrate passion for the brand is required.
What you’ll do:
- Based upon insights and input from key markets, drive an integrated and comprehensive brand strategy and operational plan liaising with Medical, Market Access, Commercial Excellence and other relevant functions.
- Lead the execution of strategy, operational planning and data roll out for the brand, along with continuous evaluation of the global brand strategy and tactics, making course corrections as needed.
- Represent the commercial view in cross-functional fora (e.g. Global Brand Teams, Global Product Teams) to inform the strategic decisions for the products in line with longer term commercial objectives, relevance for patients, customers and markets.
- Work with designated regions and key markets to ensure consistent execution of the strategy, new data launch readiness / commercial excellence, performance analysis and market and customer understanding.
- Work with external key disease experts and policy stakeholders’ relationships in line with brand team objectives.
- Lead one of Global financial planning processes i.e. LTP, QBR etc for the brand.
Position can be located in US or UK
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Medical or Life sciences degree
- 10+ years pharmaceutical commercial experience
- Expertise in cardiovascular, renal and / or metabolic disease areas
- Broad commercial experience including pre-launch and launch
- Proven record of innovative customer engagement solutions implementation
- Proven experience and knowledge of a broad base of external customers including patients, prescribers, payers and providers
- Experience with revenue forecasting, budget/expense management, business case development
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- An advanced degree (MBA, MSc or PhD) is preferred

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $229,303 to $343,955. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
