Finance Manager, Market Access, US Oncology
Introduction to role:

As the Finance Manager, Market Access, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring financial consistency, reporting, and compliance with Gross-To-Net (GTN) processes for the US Oncology Business Unit (OBU). This position offers an outstanding opportunity to collaborate across various departments, including Policy, Market Access, Government Pricing, and Contract Strategy. Accountabilities:
Lead the monthly GTN close process, ensuring accurate accruals and managing the liability balances relating to chargebacks, commercial and government contracts, and other relevant GTN discounts.
Consult with US Contract Operations and Market Access to understand any issues with payers and changes to contracting to ensure the impact on the liabilities is consistent.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements in this high-risk area.
Develop conceptual financial framework for deal structuring, create financial models of possible contract scenarios detailing cost/benefit analysis including considerations such as competitor response to AstraZeneca's offerings.
Closely collaborate with Franchise Finance, Market Access and Contract Strategy teams to develop rebate and discount forecasts for all RBUs (Rolling Business Update) and MTPs (Mid-Term Plan).
Ownership and maintenance of cloud-based gross-to-net forecasting system to provide business insights, reporting, and data integrity.
Perform ad-hoc reporting requirements and work on special projects, as vital.
Lead and inspire change to simplify data and models.
Essential Skills/Experience:
B.S. Degree in Finance or Accounting
5+ years of financial experience
Knowledge of US operating model
In-depth knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of other MS Office applications, PowerBI, and/or other cloud-based solutions.
Strong analytical ability
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including oral and written
Confidence in working with Senior Management
High degree of accuracy with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to perform in an environment that emphasizes teamwork to meet deliverables
Demonstrated capacity to effectively lead multiple and frequently changing priorities
Demonstrated capability to meet strict deadlines with a high level of ownership and strong sense of urgency
Desirable Skills/Experience:
5+ years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry preferred
CPA or MBA preferred

Total Rewards
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $115,969.60to $173,954.40 USD. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
