Compliance Business Partner, US Oncology Care & Access

As the US Compliance Business Partner (CBP) for the Oncology Care & Access team within the US Oncology Business Unit (OBU), you'll serve as a strategic advisor and operational leader, driving compliance excellence in a dynamic and regulated environment. Accountabilities:
• Provide compliance guidance and strategic input to ensure AstraZeneca’s business activities are executed in accordance with company policies.
• Implement and maintain an effective compliance program, empowering colleagues to tackle business challenges and make sustainable choices.
• Act as the main compliance contact for OBU employees in the US OC&A Function.
• Serve on the US governance committee for Market Access related third-party service agreements.
• Translate questions and issues into concrete improvements in policies and procedures.
• Embed compliance into business strategy, operations, systems, and decision-making processes.
• Develop and deliver compliance objectives aligned with Global Compliance strategy.
• Support AZ’s risk framework and risk register, effectively mitigating assigned compliance risks.
• Deliver on “second line of defense” accountabilities across all elements of AZ’s Compliance program.
• Collaborate optimally with colleagues from across AZ, including Senior Executive Team functions.
Essential Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Over 7 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of corporate governance, healthcare regulations, laws, and standards
• Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
• Proficient in digital literacy
• Strong collaborative, partnering, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• High ethical standards, trustworthy, operating with absolute discretion
Desirable Skills/Experience:
• MBA, JD, or other advanced degree
• Prior experience in compliance, legal, risk management, sales/marketing, market access, or regulatory functions at a large pharmaceutical company, or relevant US government agency experience
The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $150,227.00 to $225,340.00. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
