Analytics Associate Director – U.S. Oncology

Are you ready to deliver the value and potential of our groundbreaking pipeline? As the Analytics Associate Director, US Oncology, you will lead commercial analytics for one of our blockbuster franchises within the US Oncology portfolio. Your role will be pivotal in driving commercial efficiency to improve our inline assets and accelerate new launches. You will collaborate with Marketing and other stakeholders to identify key business questions and answer them with innovative analytical approaches in partnership with Market Research, Data Science, Forecasting, Finance, Market Access, and Data Management teams.

Accountabilities:

The Analytics Associate Director synthesizes complex data to derive critical insights for brand performance & underlying drivers to inform commercial strategic decision-making.Your experience managing large-scale datasets and conducting sophisticated quantitative data analysis enables you to lead the design and delivery of actionable recommendations through compelling, succinct storytelling and impactful data visualization. You will apply advanced analytics approaches to deepen our understanding of disease states, treatment landscapes, and patient journeys. You will also serve as an expert resource on the scope, interpretation, and nuances of internal secondary data. 

Your project management experience and leadership allows you to efficiently scope, prioritize, and negotiate projects across the franchise. With your expertise, you willspend much of your time designing and managing projects, with hands-on execution by other Analytics team members (internal or external agency), or communicating results. You can lead highly complex projects with only limited guidance and provide regular guidance to more junior Analytics Managers. You identify and promote innovate analytics approaches and best practices across the franchise. 

This role reports to the Sr. Director, Forecasting & Performance, and sits within the Analytics, Data & Reporting function within US Oncology’sOncology Business Excellence department, an inclusive team that partners with the US Oncology commercial organization to drive strategic decisions by providing objective, data-driven insight generation and analytics. 

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a quantitative field

  • 3+ years of experience at a pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturer or working in the biopharmaceutical industry.

  • 4+ years of analytics, statistics, or data science experience

  • Deep expertise with multiple APLD sources (Claims, Electronic Health Records)

  • Intermediate experience in SQL data analysis language

  • Direct experience with implementing BI visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy, etc.)

  • Provide guidance to more junior team members 

  • Proven excellent skills in collaborating with and presenting results to end-user clients/stakeholders.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced Quantitative Degree in a related subject or Advanced Marketing Degree

  • Expertise in at least one data analysis language (R, or Python)

  • Project / Program management expertise

  • Experience working in Oncology
