Job Title: BMS/EMS Technician III
Introduction to role
Join our team as a BMS/EMS Technician III, where you will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and utility equipment. This role supports a Multi-Product Large Scale Biologics Manufacturing Facility that operates 24/7, ensuring the seamless functioning of critical systems.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
- Utilize your considerable knowledge and understanding of the job to address practical applications and problems.
- Apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward instructions, dealing with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Work under limited supervision, receiving general instructions on new lines of work or special assignments.
- Detect and resolve errors that could result in loss of customer business, material, or equipment.
- Frequently interact with individuals from other departments and outside organizations to obtain or provide information on matters of moderate importance or sensitivity.
- Install and troubleshoot a variety of sensors and low voltage control devices.
- Perform point-to-point checks of sensors and equipment to ensure proper operations and outputs meet required value ranges.
- Evaluate, modify, and execute logical programs within the BAS/BMS.
- Create and modify graphical pages for smoother navigation of the BAS/BMS.
- Generate reports on the BAS/BMS for system monitoring, improvement, and user requests.
- Collaborate directly with HVAC, Electrical, and Maintenance Teams to complete projects and requests.
- Assist and train users on the proper operations of the BAS/BMS.
- Possess a basic understanding of networking and various communication protocols.
Essential Skills/Experience
- HS diploma, technical school, or military training and experience in a relevant field
- 5 to 10 Years applicable experience
- 1 to 3+ Years industry experience

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $68,915.20 to $103,372.80 Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
