Global Commercial Operations (GCO) is part of Global Business Services and supports AstraZeneca’s marketing teams with quality, relevant, and up-to-date commercial content, marketing campaigns with digital omnichannel capabilities, digital omnichannel brand analytics, and global meetings & events. This helps provide end-to-end content services across AZ, reducing time to market, ensuring consistency in brand messaging, and saving costs.
As part of the operations in GCO, we manage and maintain a library of curated digital assets in a Digital Asset Management (DAM) portal called Content Centre (CC). We are looking for a Librarian Jr. Associate to join our Content Centre Operations team. This person will work as part of a team to curate and manage the publishing of assets for download, localization, and reuse by the markets. The Librarian will additionally validate that the assets meet the standards before they are uploaded into the CC portal and work collaboratively with internal collaborators and external partners to resolve any gaps, ensuring the quality and reusability of assets in CC.
Accountabilities
- Act as a key team member to manage the execution of the organization, verification, storage, and cataloguing of digital assets in the Content Centre (CC) DAM platform (currently using Veeva Vault), for viewing, download, localization, and reuse by AZ local markets.
- Partner with global and regional content delivery managers and other collaborators to organize the content in CC to meet collaborator expectations and ongoing evolution of the processes, ensuring only relevant content is maintained in the portal.
- Partner with global and regional content delivery managers and other collaborators to provision new portals or update existing portals as required.
- Ensure high quality and consistency of digital assets within the CC platform, including governance of taxonomy, metadata, and other standards, aligned with regulatory guidelines.
- Help to maintain documentation clear SOPs, with ongoing monitoring for optimization and automation opportunities.
- Provide support to users who need access to digital assets, including training on CC systems and troubleshooting issues.
- Stay current on features and updates in the CC platform and actively suggest improvements and future enhancements, aligned to stakeholder inputs and overall content reuse strategy.
Essential Skills/Experience
- 1 to 3 years of work experience in operations, with direct experience in content management, content workflows, and digital asset management (DAM), or similar
- Very strong project management skills, with expertise in handling multiple projects concurrently while keeping leaders and collaborators appropriately informed
- Ability to influence without authority and drive adoption/compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and tailor communications based on the audience
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Experience with Veeva Vault
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Familiarity with platforms (JIRA Premium, Smartsheet)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience in driving continuous process improvements and process automations
- Experience in working with stakeholders in multiple geographies
