Introduction to role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data analysis, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for uncovering hidden trends and patterns.

Accountabilities

Translate Business Needs into Product Requirements: Collaborate closely with collaborators to understand their business objectives and translate them into clear and concise product requirements.

Data Extraction and Integration: Pull data from various sources and effectively join and map unrelated datasets to create a comprehensive view.

Metric Calculation and Documentation: Clearly explain and document the methodology and business rules used to calculate key metrics.

Data Visualization: Create informative and visually appealing data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to collaborators.

Data Governance: Adhere to data governance standards and best practices to maintain data quality and integrity.

Essential Skills/Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a role associated with reporting, analytics, and/or data management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, EXCEL.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Good with Data Modelling, Power Query and RLS techniques in Power BI.
• Well versed in working with different DAX functions.
• Knowledge of industry standards and trends.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Knowledge in python.
• Work Experience with Jira and Figma tools will be a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Insights Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer or a similar role.
