Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join the Digital Health group within the Global Medical Affairs function for the summer. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and gain valuable experience in the pharmaceutical and digital health sectors, with a focus on leveraging both clinical and non-clinical data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making within Global Medical Affairs.

  • Analyze diverse types of clinical and non-clinical datasets using R and Python to derive meaningful insights.

  • Apply statistical methods to interpret complex data and generate predictive models that influence drug development and medical strategies.

  • Assist in the development and execution of data science projects related to the drug development process and digital health.

  • Document and present findings and insights to stakeholders clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Biomedical Science, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in programming languages: R and Python.

  • Familiarity with the drug development process and digital health concepts.

  • Familiarity with Large Language Models and their applications in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

  • Experience with relational and non-relational database systems.

  • Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.

  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications.
