Franchise Lead - Oncology

Introduction to Role:
Join us at AstraZeneca's Oncology Business Unit, where we are driven by our ambition to eliminate cancer as a cause of death. As the Franchise Lead Oncology, you will be at the forefront of this mission, leading the commercial team and developing strategic plans for one of our Oncology franchises. This is an opportunity to deliver the value and potential of our game-changing pipeline and be part of our journey to become world leaders in Oncology.

Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for the forecasting of all brand opportunities within the franchise, liaising with market access teams for launch processes. You will provide sales & marketing leadership, driving innovation for all brands within the franchise throughout their lifecycle. You will also be accountable for developing and inspiring the team to innovate and compete effectively through cohesive global and local cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Degree level qualification, preferably in Science, Medicine, Business, or other relevant area
- Proven successful experience in a senior level Marketing function, in the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Proven successful experience in managing teams directly or indirectly
- Proven successful experience in working cross-functionally
- In-depth knowledge of account planning & customer engagement programmes and processes
- Strong understanding of local healthcare system pricing & reimbursement
- Strong focus on effective decision-making and delivering results

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Solid knowledge of Oncology
- Marketing experience
- Hospital sales management experience
