The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily and will be central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally.
The Axial Insights & Analysis team is leading the roadmap and delivery of analytics and AI delivery from an end-user perspective.
Job Role Details
What you will do:
Collaborate with multiple functions and senior leaders within various Business groups to determine the capabilities and needs of an Analytical stack.
Articulate and document requirements to the delivery partners and Implementation team to successfully implement and maintain the Analytics infrastructure needed to support Analytics at scale
Able to elaborate use case needs across key process areas like Finance & Operations
Be engaged in data management work such as: design of an analytics catalogue, promoting data literacy, participating in analytics governance forums and being the champion for citizen data services.
Heavily engaged in setting up the foundational design aspects of a successful and scalable analytical stack.
Develop & embed standards and guidelines for the business intelligence lifecycle.
Prepare material, tools, sample data, and processes and conduct demos to promote the platform capabilities
Designing and implementing an end-to-end process that governs analytics lifecycle covering various aspects right from data collection to advanced analysis
Contribute to the analytics and AI operating model.
Ability to create demos and PoC’s to demonstrate the new capabilities and features of the new SAP Analytics platform
Keep updated with the new features and be able to
Essential Qualifications:
Strong business analysis experience and knowledge of analytics.
Influencing design and user experience.
Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere or similar stack
Knowledge of analytics cataloguing principles & BI guidelines.
Strong drive to learn new concepts in business processes, tools, and applications.
Experience in driving fundamental and best standards for Analytics
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in one or more full S/4 HANA implementation cycle/s in Analytics using embedded analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud and understanding of SAP B/W4 HANA or SAP Datasphere
Experience in working with large and sophisticated data sets in commonly used BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Qlik & PowerBI.
Regulatory experience, e.g. GxP and SOx (Sarbanes Oxley).
Familiarity with data science, AI/ML concepts and use cases in General
Bio-Tech, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience.
Experience in large scale, complex & multi-year projects.
