Accountabilities:

In this role, you will develop plans and implement performance improvement activities at the process and systems level through AstraZeneca Supply System (AZSS) principles. You will apply various Lean and Six Sigma resources to diagnose, analyze, and improve business processes. Leading deep process analysis through VSM, you will identify obstacles due to ineffective business processes and lead Kaizen to boost flow and performance. Furthermore, you will mentor others on effective communication and active listening techniques to ensure a fuller understanding of client/customer needs and expectations.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, related field, or equivalent experience

•12+ yr. validated experience in two or more of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Lab Operations, Sourcing or related function

• Extensive experience of demonstrated hands-on experience in the application of Lean tools and techniques: Standardised Work, practical problem solving, kaizen, value stream mapping, mistake proofing, level loading demand and pull systems

• Ability to get along with all levels of the business, project management skills (demonstrated experience in leading large teams), solid eye for business, confirmed team building skills, especially good listening skills, results oriented, strong analytical skills, and prior process improvement experience.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Certified Lean Leader or equivalent

• Six Sigma Black Belt
