Introduction to Role

Your mission is to ensure reliability, security, and operational efficiency while collaborating closely with software engineering teams. Key Responsibilities

• Support and operate AWS-based applications and services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to deploy and manage Kubernetes and serverless applications
• Take ownership of incidents, driving troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution across infrastructure and applications
• Provide application support for Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Jenkins, GitHub, MFALM, Artifactory, Matomo, Hashicorp Vault
• Implement enterprise integrations and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Maintain and upgrade enterprise Linux-based platforms across multiple environments (11 platforms / ~60 servers)
• Troubleshoot deployment issues, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure failures affecting engineering teams
• Develop automation solutions (Python or similar) to reduce manual Business As Usual (BAU) activities and improve efficiency
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to standardize deployments
• Apply secure-by-design practices, including integration with enterprise secrets management platforms
• Work with stakeholders to evaluate implementation options and recommend optimal technical solutions
• Collaborate effectively with global teams to support platform operations and delivery

Essential Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native environments
• Experience with Terraform (IaC) or similar infrastructure automation tools
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized workloads
• Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux systems, applications, and infrastructure
• Experience with scripting (Bash and Python preferred) for automation
• Understanding of application deployment lifecycle and DevOps practices
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and engineering teams
