Change Management Lead

Lieu Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexique Job ID R-253016 Date de publication 05/26/2026

Lead the change that gets life-changing medicines to patients faster.

Are you ready to own enterprise-scale change that accelerates adoption and turns strategy into measurable outcomes? Do you want your expertise in change and communications to help colleagues embrace new ways of working—ways that ultimately speed life-changing medicines to patients?

This role sits at the heart of how we deliver value from technology. You'll partner with product and capability teams, business leaders, and delivery partners to shape persona-led change strategies, govern readiness through clear evidence at every gate, and scale engagement models across a complex global landscape.

From day one, you'll set the bar for clarity, consistency, and speed—building reusable assets and guardrails that help our teams move faster with confidence.

What You'll Do

  • Strategy & Governance — Define and govern the change management strategy, standards, and measures for assigned programs. Scale engagement by Support Level: L1 embedded partnership, L2 periodic strategic reviews with targeted interventions, L3 self-serve enablement with lightweight checkpoints.

  • Change Impact Assessment — Lead persona-based impact assessments across roles, regions, and ways of working. Produce change heatmaps and readiness indicators; translate impacts into targeted interventions and gate criteria that protect value and accelerate delivery.

  • Communications Strategy — Set the message architecture (audiences, value story, channels, cadence, measures) and ensure clear, consistent, value-framed messaging across the lifecycle. Execution sits with program/SI delivery teams; you govern standards, quality, and gate-readiness evidence.

  • Training & Enablement — Define persona-led training plans aligned to workflow steps and proficiency milestones. Coordinate with SI/training teams on delivery quality and KPI alignment. For L3 initiatives, provide templates and review for standards rather than hands-on build.

  • Stakeholder Engagement — Map stakeholders and influence pathways. Drive alignment on outcomes, baselines, adoption KPIs, and early signals. Secure visible leadership commitment to de-risk adoption and speed decisions.

  • Measurement & Course Correction — Establish and track comms/readiness KPIs (reach, recall, sentiment, readiness scores) and minimum adoption metrics alongside the Adoption Lead. Run insights reviews, recommend adjustments, and verify impact post-intervention.

  • Tools, Templates & Guardrails — Use and govern approved tools (e.g., Jasper/GenAI, Synthesia, DAP patterns, process-mapping standards). Ensure adherence to security, brand, compliance, and data guardrails. Contribute improvements back to shared assets and promote reuse.

  • Checkpoints & Compliance — Lead change/comms readiness for governance gates (strategy, plan readiness, go-live, 30/60/90-day reviews). Define required evidence per gate, escalate exceptions per policy, and align SI statements of work to standards and data-sharing requirements.

  • Progressive Impact — Start by stabilising standards and delivery quality on priority programs; scale the model across portfolios to improve consistency, reduce rework, and drive faster realisation of business outcomes.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in change management/OCM within technology or digital transformation
  • Stakeholder gravitas — comfortable influencing senior leaders and coordinating SI/vendor delivery
  • Frameworks & methods — strong command of ADKAR (or equivalent) and persona-based approaches; proven ability to convert impacts into actionable plans with measurable outcomes
  • Communications strategy — demonstrated success across multi-stakeholder initiatives; skilled in value-framed messaging and multi-channel cadence design
  • Modern enablement tools — proficiency with GenAI copy tools (e.g., Jasper), video platforms (e.g., Synthesia), DAP planning/patterns, and process-mapping tools
  • Data-led mindset — ability to define KPIs, interpret adoption/readiness signals, and drive course correction
  • Global collaboration — proven ability to work across diverse, distributed teams

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Commercial IT or highly regulated environments
  • Knowledge of the bio-pharma industry
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Comfort partnering and delivering in a matrix organisation

How We Work

When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines. In-person working gives us the platform to connect, work at pace, and challenge perceptions—so we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office. But flexibility matters too; we balance presence with individual needs.

Why AstraZeneca?

Join a company investing boldly in digital and data to transform how science reaches patients. Here, entrepreneurial self-starters work alongside scientists, engineers, and product leaders to tackle problems few have solved before. You'll shape new ways of working at scale, leverage leading-edge technology and AI, and fuel a culture that values kindness alongside ambition—where unexpected teams experiment, learn, and move fast.
