Introduction to role:
As part of the Global Omnichannel Delivery team within GBS Commercial Operations, the Content Delivery Manager (CDM) is the asset delivery subject matter expert and is responsible for managing the delivery of content that supports the brand’s strategic marketing campaigns. The Content Delivery Manager will understand the business and customer experience goals and will work closely with all agency partners, preferred production suppliers, internal creative design, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of marketing assets.
The Content Delivery Manager must be ready to work independently on challenging initiatives, demonstrate respect for their peers, and have the courage to stand up for doing the right thing. The successful candidate must be capable of providing direction and tap into their expertise and experience to influence decisions. At the same time, they must listen and stay open-minded as it relates to the input of others, and ultimately foster a collaborative environment while working in a flexible manner across business and technical teams to deliver content.
Accountabilities:
- Manage the operational planning and delivery of commercial marketing content production which may include websites, banner ads, emails, print collateral, and social media assets.
- Partner with the brand teams to ensure production resources and plans are properly aligned with the commercial marketing teams’ strategic marketing objectives and requirements to deliver operational excellence.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, agencies of record, preferred production partners, and cross-functional internal team members to ensure that assets are produced and delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Serve as the primary point-of-contact for the commercial marketing teams for all topics and issues associated with content production planning and delivery.
- Serve as Project Manager for multiple projects simultaneously, working in collaboration with our preferred production partners to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Work collaboratively with both internal AZ teams and external partners located around the globe supporting the execution of production requests.
- Work closely with our internal creative team to execute brand requests.
- Support discussions with brand teams, agencies, and internal/external production partners associated with content production prioritization, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement opportunities.
- Manage production budgets on behalf of the brand teams.
- Support AOR onboarding and/or training on Production Services’ ways of working.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of 7 – 10 years of experience in marketing, content delivery, marketing operations and/or an advertising agency required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with a collaboration/external partner.
- Project management skills with experience managing concurrent projects.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 – 7 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and produce results in a matrix environment – “Lead without Authority” is preferred.
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry is desired.
