Sr. Scientist – Gene Delivery
We are seeking an innovativeSenior Scientistto join theCellular Resilienceteam and contribute to groundbreaking early-discovery research at the intersection ofgene deliveryandcell therapy. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise ingene delivery,vector design, and/orcellular engineeringto develop the next generation of cellular therapies.
Key Responsibilities
Vector design and production: Conceive, performin silicodesign of, and experimentally produce genetic vectors.
Cell engineering: Engineer cell lines and primary cells using viral and non-viral techniques.
Assay development: Developin vitrocellular assays with an emphasis on high-throughput readouts such as multicolores flow cytometry and imaging.
Data analysis and communication: Analyze and interpret complex experimental data and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance research projects from concept through preclinical development.
Qualifications
Education and experience: PhD with0-5 yearsof post-graduate experience in a relevant field, including but not limited tobioengineering,chemical engineering,biomedical engineering,molecular biology,synthetic biology,biochemistry, andimmunology.
Scientific impact: Demonstrated ability to advance their field through high-impact scientific publications and/or patents.
Independent scientific leadership: Ability to independently conceive, design, execute, and draw conclusions for projects with minimal guidance.
Working style: Proactive, highly self-motivated, and able to thrive in a workplace where goals may shift.
Preferred Qualifications
Gene delivery expertise: Experience in state-of-the-art gene delivery modalities, including but not limited toVLPs,LNPs,exosomes,AAV,lentivirus, andelectroporation.
Protein engineering experience: Experience in protein engineering, with an emphasis on designing protein/DNA constructs and integrating constructs into appropriate vectors.

We offer a competitive Total Reward program including a market driven base salary, bonus and long-term incentive. We have a generous paid time off program and a comprehensive benefits package.
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $116,284.00 - $174,426.00. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
