Global Finance Services(GFS) is at the heart of the AZ Finance function. We are accountable to the AZ Group for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate transactional finance processes which, combined with exceptional business analysis and insight, enable our customers to focus on AZ’s strategic priorities.
About the Team:
Finance planning & analysis as well as controlling activities for the wide scope of the Operations/Manufacturing sites of Astra Zeneca.
Your core accountabilities will include:
Participation in month end closing activities:
- Maintaining data flow between financial systems,
- Ensuring system integrity and data reconciliation,
- Preparation of monthly reports,
- Execution of financial controls,
Master data management:
- SAP hierarchy and cost center maintenance, systems mapping coordination,
- Assistance in the forecasting cycle,
- Verification and improvement of current processes
Essential for the role:
Creativity and solution oriented approach,
Advanced computer skills (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint),
Very good command of English in writing and speaking,
Ability to learn fast and work well in the team
The internship will last 12 months.
Please remember that we work in a hybrid scheme, be prepared to work partially office based (minimum 3 days per week).
