(Senior) Human Resources Specialist

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Payroll
• Execute monthly payroll operations, including data collection, validation, system input and timeline tracking.
• Coordinate with external payroll, tax and insurance vendors to ensure smooth and accurate operational delivery.
• Perform payroll, insurance and related HR processes in compliance with company policies, operational guidelines and local regulations.
• Respond to employee enquiries related to payroll, insurance and statutory deductions, handling cases according to defined processes or escalating when appropriate.

2. HR Systems Management (Workday)
• Perform day-to-day Workday system operations and data maintenance, including employee data changes, process initiation and status tracking.
• Execute Workday onboarding processes for new hires, including system setup, notifications, data entry and process completion.
• Retrieve, consolidate and prepare HR reports and data from Workday to support operational and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with HR teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure system processes are executed in line with established standards.

3. Compensation & Benefits Processes
• Execute compensation and benefits-related operational processes, including system processing, data preparation, population lists and timeline coordination.
• Support annual compensation cycles, such as salary review, bonus or benefits-related activities, in accordance with established frameworks.
• Provide administrative and process support for compensation and benefits initiatives, ensuring accurate data handling and timely execution.

4. Employee Services, Wellbeing & Recognition Support
• Act as a first-line contact for employee HR services, responding to enquiries related to employee data changes, benefits, leave, attendance and system usage, in line with defined processes.
• Support the execution and coordination of employee wellbeing initiatives in accordance with existing policies and arrangements.
• Provide execution and coordination support for internal recognition initiatives and external award submissions, including data preparation, process tracking and timeline coordination.
• Ensure employee service cases are handled consistently, with appropriate documentation and follow-up as required
.

5. HR Compliance and Policy Execution
• Act as an execution and coordination support role for HRBPs, assisting with employee-related HR processes through data preparation, system processing and cross-functional coordination.
• Support internal policy updates and maintenance in response to changes in laws, regulations or external requirements, and assist with related internal alignment activities.
• Support the execution and continuous improvement of HR policies, HR compliance and employee relations-related processes, ensuring effective process implementation and sustainability.
• Within the assigned scope, provide administrative and process support for employee relations or HR-related investigations, including data consolidation, process coordination and record maintenance
.

6. HR Projects

• Support the execution of HR process, system or digital (including AI-enabled) initiatives, covering activities such as data preparation, testing, communication and go-live support.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project-related activities are delivered according to plan.

Qualifications & Experience
• Experience in Human Resources, HR Operations or Employee Services-related roles.
• Strong understanding of process-driven HR operations and shared service delivery.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately with systems and data.
• Service-oriented mindset with effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with HR systems such as Workday or other HRIS is preferred.
