Building on a 50-year heritage in respiratory care, our ambition is to transform the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by driving earlier, biology-led treatment, eliminating preventable asthma attacks, and removing COPD as a top-three leading cause of death. AstraZeneca is following the science of common pathways and underlying disease drivers from respiratory disease into immunology-driven disease areas.

We are looking for a Brand Manager responsible for the strategic product marketing and promotional management of assigned products.

What you'll do

  • Ensure achievement of annual sales and market share targets
  • Prepare and develop insightful business plans for assigned products – market segmentation, strategy planning and development, resource allocation
  • Conduct in-depth review and analysis of the market to identify key segment drivers, growth opportunities, and business threats.
  • Effectively lead the entire product portfolio and life cycle from pre-launch through market commercialization to maturity.
  • Collaborate with sales and other cross-functional groups (medical, commercial excellence, regulatory, finance, supply) in developing sound business decisions and product plans.
  • Align business priorities with sales initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure that the tools and programs are implemented effectively.
  • Track and analyze product performance and program execution
  • Establish strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers to build advocacy.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical/ethical marketing
  • Outstanding project management skills powered by creativity and innovation to plan and execute marketing activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of financial analysis, forecasting and supply chain management.

Desirable Requirements:

  • MBA in relevant field
  • Experience in Insight/Market Research
  • Sales and/or Sales Leadership experience
