We are now looking for an experienced leader with a passion for strategic responsibility and development—your contribution will make a real difference for both the business, environment and people's lives.
Your role
As our Head of One Campus & SHE you will have overall management responsibility for an organisation within pharmaceutical manufacturing. Head of One Campus & SHE is strategic role and has an important role to strategically plan and manage all Campus & SHE related matters to the continued long-term success of the overall Södertälje Campus. In this role you will be responsible for making sure the Campus is a great place to work and it includes areas such as sustainability, event planning and hosting both internal and external visits. You are also responsible for the Safety Health and Environment systems on the Campus in Södertälje as well as the overall SHE management system for AstraZeneca in Sweden.
You are responsible for reporting, budgeting, resource planning, and monitoring objectives and results. As a senior leader you will be required to influence across organization and externally at all levels, you will also participate in strategic decisions that shape the future of the region and AstraZeneca’s pharmaceutical production.
Your role includes external interactions such as board member of Mälardalens Tekniska Gymnasium and Södertälje Science Park.
In this role your will lead both managers and specialists, in total about 40 employees including Union Heads and Safety Principles.
The role is based at AstraZeneca´s site in Södertälje, you will be a member of Sweden Operations Leadership Team Södertälje (SOLT), the role reports to the Vice President of Sweden Operations.
Experience and Education Required
- Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Engineering alternatively 4-year upper secondary school with technical track and thorough and documented experience from project management
- Experience of managing a team of senior direct reports with mixed specialties
- Significant and successful track record in change management with Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Ability to influence suppliers to deliver harmonised/ standardised services across a region including financial management
- Ability to lead and drive cultural change through process and capability improvement
- Fluet in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
