Our Singapore Marketing Company (SGMC) is responsible for the marketing of our medicines in Singapore. Here you’ll also find colleagues from AstraZeneca’s corporate functions and our Asia and International regions’ sales and marketing teams. What you’ll do

Reporting & Dashboard Enhancement

  • Publish monthly and quarterly IQVIA and Zuellig Infrared reports and dashboards. Collaborate with the Commercial Team to develop insightful commentary.

  • Regularly present to CLT to monitor company ranking, market dynamics, and AZ brand performance.

  • Lead the strategic development and enhancement of dashboards for tracking company and brand performance, as well as monitoring key initiatives.

Lead Market Intelligence and Business Analysis

  • Collect and analyse market data, competitor intelligence, and industry trends from diverse sources to enhance strategic insights.

  • Assess AZ brand performance in relation to market trends, growth, and share; identify potential risks or opportunities; and integrate internal and external data to produce actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Provide comprehensive business analytics and strategic recommendations to guide decision-making and drive necessary strategic or activity adjustments. Offer data-driven insights to address complex business questions.

  • Identify opportunities and risks with AstraZeneca's overarching business strategy to ensure they contribute to achieving business objectives.

  • Enhance the marketing team's analytical skills to effectively interpret data and derive insights for strategic decision-making and driving high performance.

Data Governance and Partnerships

  • Partner with data providers like IQVIA and Zuellig to gain insights and explore opportunities for innovative methodologies and improved data sources, such as prescription, market potential, and enhanced granularity.

  • Spearhead the Singapore Data Strategy by closely collaborating with Global and International teams to implement above-market data strategies that enhance data maturity and accessibility.

  • Explore opportunities to integrate AI/ML for advanced data analysis.

Essential for the role

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Business Analytics and/or Marketing roles in the Pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to identify potential opportunities/trends.

  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, formula, charts), PowerPoint, Power BI, and Power Query; .

  • Extensive experience and deep understanding of managing complex data models.

  • Excellent in oral and written communication cross-functionally, with strong interpersonal and entrepreneurial abilities.

  • Agile in adopting new technologies and exploring innovative opportunities.

Desirable for the role

  • Master’s Degree

  • Knowledge of Python is a plus
