This position is to work with communication manager to conduct product communications including planning and implementation of product communications activities/products, media relations and issue/crisis management. This position also should support manager to work on the BU related internal communication.

           Working closely with all functions among AZ China including marketing teams, medical team, sales team, compliance & legal

           - Working with various external stakeholders (KOL, HCP, trade association, etc)

           - Liaison with China media including corporate and healthcare

 Bachelor degree and above (major in journalism, English, communication or media field is preferred)

3-5 year work experience in product communication or marketing in healthcare MNCs or PR agency. PR agency background is a plus. Solid and hands-on experience in planning, copywriting and media management. Good communication & interpersonal skills (with both internal and external stakeholders). Good project management skills on planning, execution, agency management, creativity, cross-function coordination

Key Tasks

Performance Indicators

Strategy & plan development  10%

  • Understand the business goals and support manager to develop external communication plan for all assigned Brands
  • Support the team to provide valuable PR advices when developing the plan
  • Could work independently to supervise agency to develop executional plan including budgets for assigned projects
  • Able to support manager to develop detailed implementation plan based on the aligned business objectives and PR plan.

Brand communication programs/activities 50%

  • Support manager to develop and brand communication plan
  • Manage the assigned program/activities and responsible for the good results in align with the plan
  • Could independently coordinate with marketing team to implement assigned PR programs and meet their goals
  • Ensure compliance standards are met or exceeded in all brand activities and programs.
  • Well manage the external resource (PR agency) to deliver the high quality service
  • Understand healthcare media and have the ability to build up media relations
  • Develop the overall program plan with detailed budget plan and monitor the process on regular base
  • Well know AZ key brands and understand the needs of business team
  • Positive feedback from internal stakeholders including BU leaders
  • Generate media coverage in the programs/activities AZ organized and deliver AZ message to the target groups in the proper ways/channels
  • Supervise the agency work on the regular base
  • Update media data and seek for any AZ exposure opportunities

Issue Management  10%

  • Supports manager to conduct issues management for each brand and provides proactive, strategic external affairs recommendations and issues management counsel and recommendations to relevant Commercial Leadership Teams.
  • Support manager to analyzes external environment and makes recommendations to business if anything could have an impact on the business (scenario plans).
  • Issue mapping and media analysis
  • Support manger to provide advice to the internal stakeholders and develop related materials
  • Closely monitoring external media clippings

Internal communication  30%

  • Support manager to develop brand related internal communication plan
  • Understand the objectives and priorities of internal communication and provide value added advice on related activities/contents
  • Could independently implement and deliver high quality  internal communication activities/contents

Support brand related internal communications

  • Support brand related internal communication works from planning phase to execution stage, in the forms of internal events, wechat articles, etc.
  • Support internal event logistics planning and arrangement
