Senior Manager, Clinical Logistics - Cell Therapy

Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Clinical Logistics will manage the set-up and process ownership of the clinical logistics program for cell therapy clinical trials. This includes the scheduling, coordination and tracking of patient materials through the vein-to-vein autologous cell therapy process. You will be based in Santa Monica, CA and report to the Sr Director, Supply Chain Logistics.
Responsibilities
Manage patient scheduling tool(s), guidelines/work instructions/procedures and dashboards for managing apheresis collection, manufacturing slot reservation, delivery of cell therapy products, chain of identity and chain of custody.
Identify communication plans, work instructions, and templates for regular communications with clinical operations, technical operations and clinical sites on patient status and tracking.
Create handling manuals and training materials for clinical sites on patient material shipping and cell product receipt. Develop training program for clinical sites and "train the trainer" model.
Support design and implementation of cell orchestration system user requirements. Set up logistics and supply chain processes to support international expansion of clinical trials.
Set up couriers, customs brokers, and shipping solutions and manage ongoing performance.
Develop processes for scheduling and slot management across clinical trials.
Participate in meetings to support launch of clinical trial.
Partner with key stakeholders to ensure thorough cell orchestration program.
Recommend process improvements.
Promote a culture of collaboration, cooperation, inclusion, execution excellence to support a high-performing team.
Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.
Plan schedules and activities to accomplish goals.
Can be a primary contact on projects or business processes.
Advanced data management and analytical software skills such as Excel (can perform complex functions), Tableau, or similar programs.
Education and Experience
8+ years with BS/BA (6+ years with MS/MA or MBA) or equivalent and Clinical Logistics/Clinical Supply Chain experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Experience in cell therapy and cell therapy concepts such as chain of identity/custody, cold chain logistics, site scheduling and capacity slot reservations, cell therapy clinical trials execution.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from 112,484 to 168,727. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
