TITLE: Facilities Engineer
LOCATION: Redwood City, CA
HOURS: Full-time/ Mon-Fri / 40 hrs/week
DUTIES: Function as site Subject Matter Expert (SME) on facility and utility systems, and facilities department quality records (Change Controls, Deviations, CAPAs, etc.) owner. Lead the equipment reliability program, championing continuous improvement and running capital projects. Ensure quality control at plant through the maintenance of facilities quality records such as change controls, deviations, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs). Implement operational improvements to industrial systems to optimize performance.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered, as a Process Engineer or in a related occupation. Must possess at least four (4) years of experience in all of the following: Serving as system owner for HVAC, water systems, waste treatment, specialty gases, electrical distribution, boilers, biosafety cabinets and controlled temperature units; Utilizing automation systems such as BMS and FactoryTalk systems for facility systems operation; Serving as system owner for SAP, CMMS; Reporting for alarm management and local regulatory agencies; Overseeing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program; Designing and evaluating High purity piping systems; Serving in an advisory capacity on safety, health and environmental programs on behalf of facilities department; Evaluating Facilities GMP and Non GMP systems commissioning and qualification; Overseeing vibration monitoring, lubrication, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Program; and Managing HEPA Filter certification/replacement activities.

The annual base salary (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $125,400 to $128,700. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
