【Medical】Data Engineer/Senior Data Engineer, Medical本部 EOR Data Science

■ 職務内容 / Job Description

Data Engneer is an expert player of server management in Medical division of AZ KK. Therefre, Data Engineer surely plays the following roles. Data Engineer directly reports to the director of Data Science, EOR. 

Management of Japan Data server
• Develop appropriate processes for utilizing data server (Japan data hub in Amazon Web Service, AWS)
• Assess applications for AWS, especially statistical & new technology
• Install/upgrade softwares in server
• Assess server perfomance and correapond to its situation 
Management of data assets
• Register data assets in servers
• Analyze/check RWD for investigating the feasibility of research 
RWE capability development
• Build and keep network with the Clinical, Epidemiology and RWE key experts/stakeholders internally and externally to enable a) the access to cutting-edge science, methodologies, technologies, processes and solutions, and b) provision of training to roles involved in evidence generations across functions

【経験 / Experience】
＜必須 / Mandatory＞

Below experiences in healthcare industry are required:

1. Server management for analyzing data　
2. Data analysis by R/SAS/Python
3. Construction/restructuring of Data Hub in AWS/Azure
4. Performance assessment of data hub and implementation of AWS applications or improvement of our server
5. Preparation for datasets for analysis

＜歓迎 / Nice to have＞

On top of the mandatory experience,
• Experience in reviewing, assessing and using Real-World data for the research purposes to address clinical / research questions
• Networking, integrating and using EMR(electronic medical records)/EHR(electronic health record) data for the clinical / epidemiological research
• Using/applying bioinformatics methodologies to analyze medical big data / database / scientific research outcomes

【資格 / License】
＜必須 / Mandatory＞

• Master degree in Engineering, Science (Math, Physics, informatics) or equivalent 
(individuals holding MD/Public health/pharmaceutical science degree may be acceptable)
• Professional Data Engineer

＜歓迎 / Nice to have＞
 • MD degree is desirable on top of the public health

【能力 / Skill-set】
＜必須 / Mandatory＞

• Make programming (Python/R/SAS)
• Management of S3, Redshift, & EC2 in AWS 
• Exchange insights with external with respect to informatics
• Assess scientific feasibility in using/integrating databases from a data format/structure point of view
• Fundamental project management capabilities in planning, initiating and controlling the projects, and applying the tools/frameworks/concepts to drive the effectiveness/performance of project teams

On top of the mandatory skill-set above,
• Design, construct and implement the process/platform of database research by using data
• Evaluate a health care data to make clear drug characteristics

日本語 Japanese：• Read/write scientific documents including data speculation in English/Japanese
• Communicate, and discuss IT/bioinformatics topicss with the key stakeholders and experts in English/Japanese practically
• Make a English presentation  leading and facilitating the IT discussions in the global meetings

英語 English：• Read/write scientific documents including data speculation in English/Japanese
• Communicate, and discuss IT/bioinformatics topicss with the key stakeholders and experts in English/Japanese practically
• Make a English presentation  leading and facilitating the IT discussions in the global meetings

• Make training plan about applications 
• Harmonize process with global
