Global Finance Services (GFS) is the heart of AstraZeneca's finance function. We are responsible for designing and delivering high-quality, easy-to-operate transactional finance processes. These, along with superior business analysis and insight, enable our customers to focus on AstraZeneca's strategic priorities. Our services span record to report, procure to pay, order to cash, tax, planning & forecasting, and management reporting for customers globally.

Internship Overview: The aim of this internship is to provide students with exposure to various aspects of the industry while offering hands-on experience in a real-life working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Upskilling Support: Contribute to the company's upskilling initiatives by supporting participant in term of technical skills pre, during and post training.
• Support Automating Repetitive Tasks: Implement scripts or use automation tools to streamline routine tasks.
• Support Workflow Automation: Optimize internal workflows using automation platforms such as Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Assist the team in identifying bottlenecks in existing automation processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Documentation: Prepare clear documentation outlining the steps, logic, and maintenance of automated processes.

Essential Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analysis or a related field.
• Minimum internship period of 16 weeks or more.
• Proficient in English, with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
