APAC Tax Manager

  • You are responsible to lead and deliver overall tax compliance for APAC markets and take charge on tax audits

  • Provide technical mentorship to team and tax partnership to business and group tax

  • Responsible to partner with service provider and establish a strong tax plan

  • Assist with the preparation of the quarterly, year-end tax provision for Group statutory reporting purposes, ensure controls framework is fully aligned with

  • Review completeness and accuracy of draft computations covering all taxes and tax reporting

  • Partner with business to establish tax efficient process and leverage opportunities to deliver cash tax savings

  • You will lead and mentor 5-6 Tax Analysts

  • Support Group Tax with information for ad hoc requests, including significant tax transactions or tax audits queries

  • Lead tax processes, escalate & resolve issues,

  • Support Global Tax and Finance Transformation initiatives

  • Training and creation of locally maintained Controls processes and documentation that aligns to the Controls Framework and FCAS/FCF process

Essential Requirements

  • You should have 8-10 years of experience proven track record in taxation and accounting

  • You have people management experience

  • You have experience with SAP, strong accounting & analytical capabilities

  • Experience of working in an international organisation, including building relationships remotely and cross-culturally

  • Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams
