■ 職務内容 / Job Description

A leadership role responsible for providing direction and management of COVID-19 Vaccine & LAAB Medical. Provides medical and clinical expertise and builds AZ scientific leadership.

The MA Director is responsible for leading the development of local Medical plan and Evidence Generation activities in their team, and collaborating with Confidence team for aligning medical strategies and providing significant input into confidence activity planned by MSL Manager / MSL. Proactively demonstrate the AZ Values. 


• Lead strategy creation and data generation activities of responsible brand. 
• Develop, manage and execute medical plan(jMAP) of responsible brand with incorporating confidence plan working with MSL group, in accordance with brand strategies, including budget and resource plans. 
• Manage and develop team members to maximize individual team member’s capability and create a high performing team. 
•Member of the Brand team and provide significant input into brand strategy and take the lead in the design and implementation of medical activities aligned with Medical, Brand strategy
• Ensure that the medical information provided both to external and internal customers is timely, accurate and scientifically balanced
• Develop relationships with global medical colleagues to ensure alignment and up to date knowledge on global best practices
• Collaborate with MSL group in creating and executing strategic confidence activities.
• Support Therapeutic Area Head in transforming the medical organization to execute industry-leading high quality medical activities, and in collaborating with cross-function teams, including brand team and R&D teams.

【経験 / Experience】

<必須 / Mandatory>

• Extensive knowledge of infection disease and control
• Sufficient knowledge and experience in managing external sponsored studies and company-sponsored non-interventional studies
• Thorough knowledge of and experience within the pharmaceutical industry (>7 years) and Medical or clinical function (>5 years)
• Significant experience and positive track record with project management in a pharmaceutical company
• Experience in relationship and stakeholder management
• Experience of people management

<歓迎 / Nice to have>

• Experience of basic or clinical research handling
• Ample experience with team budget management
• Extensive knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory developments, data science and digital innovation
• Experience in the field of Hematological Oncology

【資格 / License】

<必須 / Mandatory>

• Qualified Medical Doctor or PhD in a scientific discipline or Sufficient knowledge and experience in responsible disease area enable to have a peer discussion with KEEs
