Sr Marketing Manager- Rare Disease
You willbe responsible formanaging a portfolio of products to strategicallyoptimizeproduct life cycle, build &maintainkey customer relationships preferably in super specialty segment for AZ India. The position holder is also responsible for providing support to the brand with specific focus on Strategic Marketing, communications, content development, planning and executing promotional events, market information system/ Market Intelligence, and developing and managing key customer relationships with theobjectiveof demand generation. The above should be sustainable, process driven and aligned to the regional/ global strategies. At the same time, ensuring that the business has a highly differentiated image amongst leading practitioners in different segments of the category /related market. The position of Sr Brand Leaderis responsible forbuilding close working relationship with SLSMs, FLSMs and Sales Representative and SFE team, along with the internal teams. Defining priorities and providing direction to achieve ambition and targets become one of the key areas for you to focus on.
Key Duties and Accountabilities
Building Brands / Therapy
Achieve Market Shareobjective, bottom-line targets, top line & profitability.
Facilitate development and execution of Rare Disease portfolio promotional plan and programs and ensure their consistency with brand strategy and work towards future RD portfolio.
Study andinterpret market conditions and forecast salesand market share.
Continually provide customer feedback and macro view of the market through designated meets to achieve company’s Long, Medium- and Short-term marketing plans
Assistsin designing, implementing, and evaluating HCP marketing activities for KOSELUGO and New Launches (Soliris) including personal promotion (Sales) and channel solutions (Digital, social media, Print)
Completion of product strategic and tactical Plans and Monitors the implementation.
Reviews market assumptions and plans.
Ensures market patient model are in line with global templates / standard Brand Plan template.
Validates sales and market share developments for products.
Monitors sales and product supplyensures forecasts areadjustedas necessary.
Tracks implementation plan with senior sales management to ensure achievement of targets.
Relationship building with key external stakeholders and builds AZ networking.
Works toidentifythe key stakeholders and KEE and decision makers in the therapeutic area.
Work toidentifypatient advocacy groups and build a collaborative plan to improve patient outcomes.
Maintain and improve systems and processes.
Tracks monthly performance vs budget and analyse reasons for gaps.
Completes andsubmitsmonthly summary of performance, including activities and A&P against the plan.
Streamlines reporting system and re-evaluate the necessity of reports asrequired.
Financial Planning and forecast.
Expertisein understanding / building patientmodels,short and long termbrand and portfolio forecast & Resource management
People Management– Effectively coach and mentor Brand activation manger.
Key Requirements
Strong functional understanding and experience of effective brand management from Market understanding to defining clear strategies and operation Plan.
Ability to understand complex ecosystems, patient journeys to drive positive patient experience with robust brand planning process.
New Launch Excellence (Pre to post launch)
High levelof understanding of innovative Pricing and MA models
Ability to collaborate and influence Above market.
Good understanding / experience of Digital landscape and omnichannel
Collaboration and impact across cross functional teams (Medical / Govt & corporate affairs, Key Accounts / IBEX)
Effective MS Office skills (PPT / Excel)
