The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Inhaled Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager – Ontario Respiratory Portfolio plays a pivotal role in translating national respiratory brand strategies into high‑impact, locally relevant execution across Ontario—while also shaping those very strategies through insights from Canada’s largest province.
As an embedded member of each respiratory brand team, you will connect strategy to execution—partnering closely with Field Teams and Ontario‑based key opinion leaders (KOLs) to deliver a seamless, customer‑centric experience. You will also play a meaningful role in informing and influencing national brand direction, surfacing Ontario‑driven insights, competitive dynamics, and customer perspectives that help shape country‑wide strategy and cross‑regional alignment.
This is a Head Office–based role in Mississauga, with approximately 30% of time spent in-field across Ontario.
What You’ll Do
You will bring strategy to life—adapting national respiratory brand priorities into Ontario‑specific plans that reflect local customer needsand regional opportunities, while also contributing to the development of national priorities. Leveraging Ontario’s scale andcomplexity, you will provide strategic input that helps shape upstream brand planning and advises country‑wide decision‑making.
You will work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with Field Teams to drive aligned, high‑quality execution, while strengthening engagement with Ontario‑based KOLs and ensuring regional initiatives connect to broader portfolio priorities.
A key part of your role will be identifying and elevating regional insights—translating market dynamics, barriers, and competitive activity intoinnovative andactionableactivitythat shapesboth local execution and national strategy.
You will lead regional test‑and‑learn initiatives and select national initiatives, scaling proven approaches and contributing to cross‑regional planning and capability building. This includes piloting innovative approaches in Ontario and supporting their pull‑through across other provinces to strengthen national execution excellence.
You’ll also take a portfolio view—coordinating opportunities across brands to maximize impact, supporting account orchestration with Sales leadership, and ensuring that successful Ontario initiatives are adapted and scaled nationally to enhance cross‑regional capabilities
What You Bring
You have 3–5 years of marketing experience, with a strong track record of turning strategy into execution. You bring hands-on field experience, including meaningful engagement with KOLs, and a reputation for building trusted, insight-driven relationships.
You’re both strategic and pragmatic—able to translate insights into clear, measurable plans. You communicate with clarity, influence effectively, and thrive in a matrixed environment, partneringacrossSales, Medical, Market Access, and Marketing.
You’re comfortable balancing national priorities with regional accountability, and you bring a disciplined, compliant approach to execution. You also have a sharp eye for identifying and scalingopportunities—capturing best practices and extending their impact acrossthe country andteams.

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 136,829.60 to 179,588.85.AstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs. In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.
In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role). Benefits offered for permanent roles include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, and annual Personal Days. Fixed Term Contract/Temporary positions (excluding students) are offered a Contract Benefits Program.
