Senior Manager, Diagnostics - 12-Month Contract

As Senior Manager, Diagnostics, you will set the direction for how we advance awareness, quality, and availability of diagnostic tests that enable optimal patient selection. You will bring science and commercial thinking together, partnering closely with cross-functional tumor teams and field-based colleagues to build national strategies that unlock testing excellence. Your work will ensure every launch is backed by a robust diagnostic pathway, so the right patients are identified at the right time.

You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values curiosity, decisive action and measurable impact. By connecting external partners, labs and clinical leaders, you will remove barriers and build durable testing pathways across key centers—turning ambition into outcomes that matter for patients and for our portfolio.

Accountabilities:

- Diagnostic Strategy Leadership: Develop, evaluate and deliver national diagnostic brand strategies for current and future Oncology products with cross-functional tumor teams, translating insights into clear tactics that expand appropriate testing and improve patient selection.

- Launch and Market Readiness: Ensure companion diagnostics and testing excellence for all launches, including readiness assessments to inform go/no-go decisions; build and deploy education assets across the diagnostic lifecycle to drive quality and adoption.

- Insight Generation and Field Collaboration: Work with Field-based Diagnostic Liaisons to capture and synthesize market insights, feeding back into strategy and execution to accelerate impact at national scale.

- Strategic Partnerships and Ecosystem Shaping: Assess testing options, select and qualify diagnostic partners and labs; collaborate with national diagnostic and clinical opinion leaders to design and execute activities (e.g., market research, advisory boards, webinars, conference symposia) that optimize diagnostic provision.

- Barrier Removal and Pathway Optimization: Build robust testing pathways across key national clinical centers; support local protocol implementation and identify/remove bottlenecks (e.g., genetic counseling) through collaboration with diagnostic companies, lab networks, KEEs and HCPs.

- Environment Scanning and Continuous Improvement: Monitor the diagnostic testing landscape and trends; diagnose system issues and co-create solutions with external stakeholders that minimize barriers, enhance access and elevate testing quality over time.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- 5+ years experience in the molecular diagnostics or pathology space

- Experience with a broad range of diagnostic technologies, pathology leaders/tests, and marketing

- Launch experience of a diagnostic, therapeutic, or device

- Proven track record of critical thinking aligned to strategic direction, judgment and influencing skills to ensure strong commercial/medical focus with excellent execution

- Able to build compelling business cases

- Oncology experience!

- Proven demonstration of effective cross-functional project team leadership including budget ownership

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- MSc/PhD strongly preferred

- Experience with companion diagnostics development, validation, or deployment in Oncology

- Established relationships with diagnostic laboratories, pathology leaders, and national clinical centers

- Proven ability to design and optimize testing pathways, including integration of genetic counseling and reflex testing

- Working knowledge of diagnostic reimbursement, coding and health system procurement processes

- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for diagnostics and real-world evidence generation

- Experience in digital pathology, next-generation sequencing workflows, or laboratory informatics

- Advanced degree in business or public health, or formal training in health economics or market access

- Strong communication skills to engage KEEs, run advisory boards and deliver impactful education programs

- Bilingual or multilingual capability beneficial depending on market

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 135,864.00 to 178,321.50.

Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs.  In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.

In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role).  Benefits offered for permanent roles include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, and annual Personal Days. Fixed Term Contract/Temporary positions (excluding students) are offered a Contract Benefits Program.
