HCP Engagement Operations Associate

Introduction to role

This role provides foundational support in HCP Engagement Operations, a high-risk and high-visibility function in life sciences. Our team offers strategic and tactical partnership to all commercial business units, collaborating with external vendors and cross-functional partners in the planning and execution of HCP Engagements, such as Speaker Bureau. You will support activities across the entire function, with a focus on administrative duties related to vendor financial management and HCP operations oversight and monitoring.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for:
• Consistent execution of tasks related to HCP Operation such as Debarment, HCP Contracting, User Acceptance testing
• Generating and distributing standard reports
• Supporting HCP Operations by organizing team meeting notes and action items
• Maintaining correct processes for vendor management, including oversight and monitoring of PO’s, ensuring timely invoicing, and accurate documentation of proof of performance
• Supporting budget management across stakeholders, ensuring accurate cost center charges and billing with finance and external partners
• Maintaining communication platforms to ensure updates are uploaded as available

Essential Skills/Experience
• BS/BA required
• Financial and business process acumen including experience using Excel
• Attention to detail, ability to make clear decisions, solve problems and quality check work
• Initiative and accountability; we seek to continuously improve our operation and partnership to the Alexion businesses
• Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment and achieve objectives in a timely manner
• Ability to effectively convey organizational information and imperatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Technologically-savvy, demonstrating a can-do attitude
• The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem-solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours

Desirable Skills/Experience
• Coupa and Icertis experience
• SmartSheet experience
• Creative problem-solving, customer-focused mindset, and conflict resolution skills essential for effective partnership with key external and internal stakeholders
• Experience in establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with key external and internal stakeholders
• Project management experience and a detail-oriented approach
• Appreciation for operating in a highly regulated environment with defined work instructions and Compliance requirements
• Pharmaceutical or biotech experience preferred
