Do you love using your analytical skills to seek solutions and improve the demand of product?

In this position, you will ensure operational demand be the operational point of contact between Canada and the respective supply regions.

You will use your analytical capabilities, demand and planning expertise, and local and global relationships to meet the market supply needs within the executional planning horizon.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Analyze sales pattern / phasing and ensure correct forecast split patterns are set in the system, monitoring the forecast vs sales in current month and responding to past due or alerts in the system

  • Lead demand intelligence from 3rd Party Commercial Partners and are a key player in the planning process with a focus on 3-24month horizon
  • Be the day-to-day customer interface, managing and analyzing short term demand , events and exceptions; ensuring alignment with rules of engagements with the supply organisation
  • Support projects and initiatives (e.g. NPI, deals, acquisitions, business development initiatives,).
  • Prepare market demand reports and provide intelligence for S&OP and other meeting, attending as needed
  • Validate forecasts & release forecasts to APO, including investigating short term significant demand changes and supply and demand imbalances and updating the global launch tracker
  • Act the Super User of the Operational Planning process, you build the demand and plan for products including PO creation, shelf life management, pack change process support, and forecast validation including validating incoming customer orders for distributor markets
  • Build and update Master Data details into the system and perform regular Master Data reviews with the team
  • Monitor, analyze and report on stock tolerance, forecast accuracy exclusions, and overall supply chain performance

Your qualifications include:

  • A degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering

  • Minimum 3-5 years prior experience in Supply Chain Environment (Manufacturing, Planning) and Supply & Operations Planning process
  • Experience with SAP/APO planning systems for executing demand management activities
  • Advanced supply chain (inventory, capacity and network) planning skills with APICS / CSCP or equivalent certification
  • Lean certification
  • Commercial experience
  • Resilient and energized by working in ambiguity and complexity; you are agile and adaptable to change
  • Strong communication skills: interpersonal, written and presentation
  • High degree of initiative and capacity to lead multiple priorities
  • You seek to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
