About the role:
Reporting to the Vice President, Respiratory & Immunology, the Commercial Director leads the Tozorakimab launch team to successfully drive the promotion of our industry leading portfolio. This includes leadership of all Marketing, Sales and launch initiatives including the development and execution of brand strategic and operational plans and lifecycle planning.

Responsibilities:
- Build a high performing Marketing and Sales organisation accountable for the launch of Tozorakimab in Canada
- Lead the team to build customer centric strategic plans to ensure brand success, including innovation in our go to market approach and forward-thinking ideas to improve the potential of the brands.
- Provide leadership for cross-functional development of Brand Strategy, Positioning, Segmentation and Operational Plans.
- Complete and measure impact of all marketing strategies and tactics to deliver on the brand objectives.
- Partner cross-functionally with medical, market access, corporate affairs and patient engagement teams on the enterprise transforming care strategy.
- Lead the Marketing and Sales teams and be accountable for performance management, talent management and career development of direct reports.
- Work collaboratively with leaders across the business to share winning initiatives and improve opportunities to develop and scale innovation in our commercial model.
- Development and ownership of commercial forecasts, budgets, and P&L.
Qualifications and Capabilities
- University degree in science and/or business.
- Specialty care marketing experience with Respiratory Biologics medicines is an asset. COPD and/or acute care experience would be valued.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Canadian Healthcare environment.
- In-depth understanding of competitive landscape, able to frame strategic implications to improve business outcomes.
- Strong leader with a general manager mind-set who can articulate a vision, set direction, and encourage dedication to achieve results.
- Experience leading commercial teams, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style and proven record of accomplishment to work successfully within a diverse team. Ability to connect and develop followership with field-based teams.
- Enterprise thinking and entrepreneurial leadership through leading change and transformation while having a broader perspective of brand, TA and organizational needs.
- Knows how to coordinate people and activities effectively to achieve impactful outcomes.
- Experience attracting, assessing, and developing talent while optimizing team performance in direct and matrixed leadership roles.
- Outstanding strategic problem solving, judgement and influencing skills.
- Strong critical thinking and planning skills with ability to implement plans with excellence.
- Experience building and implementing digital strategies.
- Strong financial acumen with ability to develop budget and resourcing plans to ensure effective operational delivery.
- Willingness to travel.
